From BTS To BRB: BTS Set To Take Long-Term Break From Music
If you are a fan of K-Pop boyband BTS, brace yourself to see less of them.
This is because the band will reportedly be taking a “long-term break” from the music scene.

"Hello. This is Big Hit Entertainment. We would like to announce that for the first time since their debut, BTS will be going on an official and extended period of rest and relaxation," the statement read.
"This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators."
The statement also said the break will ensure that the band members “enjoy their daily lives as normal 20-something young men."[공지] 방탄소년단 공식 장기 휴가 알림 (+ENG) pic.twitter.com/fV4Aw5UNY4— BigHit Entertainment (@BigHitEnt) August 11, 2019
On top of that, Big Hit also asked that fans to respect BTS’privacy - even if you bump into them during their vacation.
"Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off.”
The post received hundreds of thousands of replies, mostly wishing the boys a happy vacation.

BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan, which translates to 'Bulletproof Boy Scouts', has gained a massive global following in recent years, as they became the first K-Pop group to top music charts in the US.
