Chris Evans Reveals That There’s A Possibility He’ll Play Captain America Again
The ‘Avengers’ saga may have ended months ago and we know many of you (including us) are crushed when Chris Evans said he’s done playing the titular character, Captain America.
He may passed on his shield to the Falcon, but let’s be real, we’re all secretly hoping to see Evans in full costume shouting “Avengers, assemble!” again.
Well, there might be hope after all, even though the chances are as tiny as Ant-Man in the quantum realm.
During Variety’s “Actors on Actors” interview alongside fellow ‘Avengers’ alumni Scarlett Johansson, Evans says it’s very unlikely he’ll pick up his shield once again and joked that since he’s now an old man: “Everything clicks when I get up, recovery is not the same.”
But when asked again in a serious tone, the former Captain America gave an answer that’ll spark some hope in fans.
“Would you come back?” Johansson asks him.
“To Marvel?” Evans responds. “You know, you never say never. I love the character. I don’t know.”
“It’s not a hard no, but it’s not an eager yes either,” he added.

Evans added that if Marvel wants him to come back as Captain America, there has to be several rules.
"If you’re going to revisit it, it can’t be a cash grab. It can’t be just because the audiences would be excited. What are we revealing? What are we adding to the story? A lot of things would have to come together,” he answered.
So, there you have it fans. He may come back, but it’s definitely not in the near future.
Who knows, 10 years from now something amazing might go down with Steve Rogers and the Avengers, right?
