Fans of the Duke of Hastings would not need to wait for a second season of ‘Bridgerton’ to catch him on the silver screen soon.

The man who has set hearts aflutter beyond Clyvedon Castle has reportedly been casted in the upcoming ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ live-action adaptation.

According to Variety, Regé-Jean Page has been confirmed as the leading star for the film.

He’ll be starring along side Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Justice Smith.

Although there has been a few meh attempts at bringing the beloved video game come to life on the big screen in the past, this latest version will have the A-class treatment backed with a huge budget and star-studded cast.

‘Dungeons and Dragons’ is known for its war games, treasure hunts, camaraderie and reversals of fortune, all in a fantasy setting that combines humans, elves, orcs and hundreds of other creatures.

No word yet on whether the storyline would follow the original game’s concept closely or loosely.

It said that the film is set to premiere some time in 2022.
