We've seen Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson do a lot of crazy things in his movie, but he probably did the craziest thing of all in real-life: he single-handedly defeated The Avengers.

Well, not literally, but we won't be surprised if he did because muscles.


According to a report by Forbes, the former professional wrestler is officially the world's highest-paid actor of 2019, raking in US$89.4 million (RM373.2 million) over 12 months.

He last held the top spot three years back.

The 47-year-old have acted in several 'Fast & Furious' films, as well as the highly successful 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle'.

Those two movies earned Johnson enough to beat our several Avengers on the list.

Number two and number three.
As the previous years were the years of The Avengers, it’s not surprising to see most of the 'Avengers: Endgame' actors on the list as the list covers the period of between June 2018 to June 2019, during which time the highest-grossing film of all time was released.

Actor Chris Hemsworth took second place with US$76.4 million (RM319.93 million) while Robert Downey Jr, who played Iron Man in the movies, raked in US$66 million (RM276.38 million), good for third place.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, meanwhile, took the fourth spot with earnings amounting to US$65 million (RM272.19 million).

The rest who made the list include Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper, Adam Sandler, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd and Will Smith.
