Hearing actors or actresses crossing over from DC to Marvel or vice versa isn’t uncommon; in fact, some have very successful careers on both ends.

But for one star, his stint in the DC Universe came across as a controversial one, especially after reports surfaced that he tried to cancel the ‘Joker’ film since he wasn't in it.

From clown to vampire

Jared Leto may not have had it his way back then, but now he has decided to cross over to the other dark side to embrace the role of another villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Sony dropped a surprise trailer for the film ‘Morbius’, starring Leto as the titular villain who's pretty famous in the ‘Spider-Man’ comics.

Morbius the Living Vampire, or also known as Dr. Michael Morbius, is a Nobel Prize-winning doctor who’s living with a rare blood condition that he needs to cure in order to live.

In his conquest finding a cure, he accidentally turns into some sort of vampire who posses bat-like qualities, including blood-sucking.

Morbius can also be seen interacting with another Spiderverse villain, the Vulture, played by Michael Keaton, in the trailer.

Ooh, we wonder what's happening there.

Well, he does look the part...
Guess Leto went from being a psychotic clown to a vampire real quick.

Besides the former ‘Suicide Squad’ star, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris and Tyrese Gibson also star in the movie.

‘Morbius’ is set to hit cinemas on 31 July 2020.
