Four-Year-Old Child Celebrity Lara Alana Has Been Paying Her Taxes Since She Was One!

Everyone knows Malaysia’s fashionable TV power couple – Awal Shaari and Scha Alyahya.

The duo’s marriage has been blessed with their daughter, Lara Alana, who was born in 2014 and arguably may be even more popular than her parents.

Lara has been in the spotlight the minute she was born. Her Instagram account has amassed a whopping 3.6 million followers so far which is managed by her parents.

But what’s even more impressive is that this young star in the making has been paying income tax ever since she turned one!

Her father, Awal told Harian Metro that they went to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia few years back and found out the soon-to-be five-year-old will have to start paying taxes because she earns her own income.

“A lot of her social media followers question why does she need to pay tax since she’s just a toddler,” said Awal.

“I don’t think it’s a burden because the income that she received was based on work that she did, so she has to pay a bit of taxes. We’re just carrying out our responsibilities to pay the tax.”

Lara has appeared in numerous commercials, appointed as various brand ambassadors, and even had her own reality show titled ‘Lara Oh Lara’in 2016.

She is one of the biggest child celebrity or influencer in Malaysia.
