Well, it seems that the Weasley family will be welcoming a new member soon as Grint has announced that he is expecting his first baby with long-time girlfriend, Georgia Groome.

Naming the baby Ron?

The duo have reportedly dated each other since 2011 and if you think that Grint’s significant other is quite familiar, that’s because she starred in the hit teen flick ‘Angus Thongs & Perfect Snogging’.

According to The Mirror, both Rupert and Georgia were rumoured to have tied the knot in 2019 after they were spotted wearing matching wedding bands.

But the rumours were put to rest when it was denied by both camps.

The 31-year-old actor previously expressed his interest in starting a family after he turns 30.

He also joked that he’d probably name him Ron if he had a son.

Honestly, that’d be really cool if he actually named his child Ron and it’d do a great service to the ‘Harry Potter’ fans.

No word yet on how far along is Georgia expecting or when she is due.
