The highly anticipated film dubbed the #SynderCut or ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ is finally here to meet fans via the streaming platform, HBO Max or HBO GO.

But it seems that the film’s debut took an anti-climatic turn after the HBO GO app crashed within minutes of its premiere.

Fans want justice for their apps

It wasn’t long until fans took it to social media to complain about the crash which even made the keyword ‘HBO GO trending on Twitter.

HBO immediately addressed the issue and said that they are “experiencing an unprecedented surge in traffic” and “are working on a solution”.

In Malaysia, fans were scheduled to watch the Snyder Cut premiere at 3:01p.m. but a quick check on Twitter shows that local fans weren’t the only ones who are affected by the disruption.

Some netizens even poked fun of the situation.

‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ is now a 3 hours 52 minutes film as opposed to its initial plan of a four-part series.

The film will feature some new scenes, which were recently filmed.

No word yet from HBO whether their servers have been fully restored but it looks like some fans are already able to access #SnyderCut at the time of publish.

Guess with the pandemic going on an uncertainty of cinemas, many fans were excited over the prospect of a superhero film on a streaming platform.
