Henry Golding Set To Make His First Animated Film Debut In ‘The Tiger’s Apprentice’
It looks like Henry Golding is set to shed his snakeskin ways in ‘Snake Eyes’, as he has been casted in an upcoming animated film!
According to Entertainment Weekly, the Sarawakian will star in ‘The Tiger’s Apprentice’, an animated film adapted from Laurence Yep's fantasy children book.

Set to play a tiger

The book tells the tale of a young boy named Tom, living in San Francisco who encounters a shape-shifting talking tiger named Mr. Hu, played by Golding in a world filled with mythical creatures and a clan of evil-doers.
Mr. Hu ends up being Tom’s guardian and trains him to be the next guardian of a magical phoenix.
Have you read these books before? The book is part of a trilogy, which includes ‘Tiger’s Blood’ and ‘Tiger Magic’, and is based on the Chinese zodiac mythology.
So for all we know, the ‘Crazy Rich Asian’ star might be starring in all three films if they decide to make the whole trilogy down the line.
Carlos Baena, a Pixar animator who worked on 'Wall-E' and 'Toy Story 3', will direct the film. This will be his directorial debut.
‘The Tiger’s Apprentice’ is slated for release on 11 February 2022, so we can't wait to hear Mr Golding roar.
