Hit Series ‘Money Heist’ Will Reportedly Be Given A K-Drama Adaptation
It looks like we’ll be listening to the song ‘Bella Ciao’ in a different tune (read: K-pop) soon.
Popular Spanish drama ‘La Casa de Papel’ (or more popularly known as 'Money Heist') is reportedly ‘moving’ into a different continent for an adaptation.

The parties are in talks

According to Soompi, BH Entertainment and ZIUM Content are pushing for a South Korean remake of ‘Money Heist’.
Apparently, both companies are in talks with Netflix to develop the adaptation.
Imagine this photo but a South Korean cast. A spokesperson from BH Entertainment later also confirmed the rumours.
“It’s true that we’ve taken steps toward a remake of ‘Money Heist’ with the production company ZIUM Content and the OTT [over-the-top] streaming service Netflix.”
“However, we’ve only shared the relevant content so far and nothing has been decided in concrete yet.”
BH Entertainment manages some of South Korea’s top stars such as Kim Go Eun, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Byung Hun, Park Bo Young, and many more.
Here's who some fans want as their dream cast. Ever since news of the adaptation broke, K-drama fans have been coming up with their own dream cast lineup and even speculated whether the original storyline will be altered or not.
So ‘Money Heist’ fans, what do you think? Will the Korean version do justice to your favourite series?
