Fans of Blink 182, it’s time to show some support and love for the band’s bassist Mark Hoppus.

The co-lead singer of the pop punk band has revealed that he’s been battling cancer for the past year.

Cancer sucks, period


Hoppus broke the news of his diagnosis via his Instagram Stories and Twitter, saying he’s been undergoing chemotherapy for cancer for the past three months.

Despite feeling scared (who wouldn’t!), he says he’s grateful to have “incredible doctors, family, and friends” to help him through this difficult period.

He’s trying to remain hopeful and positive and also wishes see his fans at a concert in the near future.

The legendary pop punk musician didn’t specify what kind of cancer he’s currently battling.

Fans immediately showed their outpouring love and support for Mark and wished him a speedy recovery.
