About a decade ago, a popular girl group conquered the music industry and rocked our Malaysian airwaves. Heck, they even came down to Malaysia for a concert!

The Pussycat Dolls (PCD) is no stranger to most Malaysians, they have a handful of hit and super-duper infectious songs that you’d probably remember up until today.

Buttons, Don’t Cha, Stickwit U, and When I Grow Up were total bangers and were probably some of the songs that you used to have in your laptop or your fancy Sony Ericsson mobile phone years ago.

Just like every other band, there’s bound to be drama. After Carmit Bachar left the band in 2008 and blamed lead singer Nicole Scherzinger for it, the girl group finally disbanded in 2010.

Nicole will reprise her role as a judge on The X Factor UK this year.
Scherzinger has had the most success post PCD, with a solo singing career and multiple TV stints such as being appointed as a judge on the X Factor.

We know you probably secretly wished to see these girls performing alongside each other once again and sing along to their catchy tunes and energetic dance routines. Well guess what, your wish might actually come true.

The Sun reported some cat-citing news that five former members of the band – Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt and Melody Thornton - have agreed to work together and bring back the Pussycat Dolls.

A source told The Sun that “talk of the girls getting back together has been rife for a few years now and they have finally found a time which works for them all.”

“They are still deciding whether it will involve a full tour or just a handful of performances but they are excited to be getting out there together again.”

It is said that the girls are willing to put their differences behind to work together again. There might also be a possibility that the band will be churning out new tunes for their fans.

So far, Nicole Scherzinger or other former members have not made any official statement to confirm or deny the reports, but let’s hope that the news is true!
