Just like us, many of them had to miss a lot of things in life no thanks to the pandemic, and in a bid to cheer them up, a group of local BTS ARMYs decided to send them the K-Pop group’s limited edition McDonald’s meal.
This meal is Dynamite
On 27 May, Twitter user @PartOfJimin tweeted that she wishes to send over a couple of BTS Meals to the frontliners at the National Heart Institute (IJN).
However, within 1 hour and 30 minutes, she received RM1,050.60 in donations.
Armed with that amount of cash, she ended up sending 54 BTS Meals to IJN instead.
I wanna send some sets to IJN hospital from ARMY to frontliner. Anyone wants to join? Let me know! https://t.co/M4EAZIQbL0

Due to the overwhelming requests received, the BTS fan then continued to send the meals to other frontliners working at the Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre in Kuantan, Hospital Angkatan Tentera (HAT) Tuanku Mizan, and Putrajaya Hospital the next day.
On 31 May, Malaysian ARMYs concluded their donation drive by giving out a total of 185 sets to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) Klang’s Emergency Department and the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM).

Other ARMYs applauded the groups effort in celebrating our frontliners and also treating them to a meal.
The limited-edition McDonald’s BTS Meal features 10 pieces of Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, a Coke and two special sauces — sweet chili and cajun — which the band selected.
Besides @PartOfJimin, another local BTS Army account, @PurpleProject7 also donated the meals to frontliners at the University of Malaya Medical Centre, the children’s ward at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, and frontliners at the MAEPS Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre in Serdang.

Good job, guys! Let’s all continue to support our frontliners by not only treating them to delicious meals, but also doing our part in the war against COVID-19.
Always remember to follow the SOPs in place, avoid going out or crowded places, frequently wash or sanitise your hands, and try to wear double masks if you can.
