If you have been waiting for 'The Matrix 4' since we last saw everyone's forever crush, Keanu Reeves, know that your favourite star won’t be the only lead actor in the movie.

As much as we only want to see the main star, Reeves will share the space on screen with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II of 'Aquaman' fame, who will play another lead role.

According to a report in Unilad quoting Variety, an additional cast for the movie has been in talks by director Lana Wachowski for quite some time with rumours going around that Michael B. Jordan woud star in it surrounding Morpheus' origin story.

Nevertheless, we are thrilled to see what is to come to the Matrix universe.

The movie, originally released in 1999, has revolutionised action cinema as we know we today.

Not that, Neo.
The next installment will begin production next year and is expected to be released in cinemas in 2022.

Are you excited?
