Neelofa Becomes The First Malaysian To Win The Influencer Awards Monaco

Back in June, Neelofa revealed that she was nominated for the 2019 Influencer Awards Monaco in the entrepreneur category.

And if you’re wondering whether our home girl eventually took home the award or not, well you’re in for a treat.

Neelofa clinched the coveted award beating out eight other nominees from around the world.

Via her Twitter and Instagram account, the host and business mogul shared a photo of her dressed in a chic all-white ensemble designed by Rizalman Ibrahim, while holding the candy-shaped award.

This makes the Kelantanese native the first Malaysian to be nominated and win the award.

“RECOGNITION. Thank you again for the nomination and this award, @influencerawardsmonaco,” she wrote in her caption.

“This goes to all of you who have been supporting and inspiring this girl since day one. Definitely one of the most significant highlights of 2019.”

The photo received over 100,000 likes and was flooded with congratulatory comments from fans as well as local celebrities, including Siti Nurhaliza, Alif Satar, Umie Aida, Lisa Surihani, and Daphne Iking.

The event recently took place on 6 October in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

The award is organised annually by the Monaco royal family featuring the who’s who of the social media industry.
