If you miss travelling thanks to the pandemic, try binge watching ‘Emily In Paris’ on Netflix in one night and you’ll immediately be transported to the city of love full of scenic sights and chic fashion.

And for those of you who’ve watched the show, we know you’re dying to know if there will ever be a second season, no thanks to that cliffhanger ending.

Well, time to raise those champagne glasses because the answer is oui (yes); Emily is definitely returning to Paris for another season.

Enchanté, Emily!

More hats for the second season, please!
Netflix broke the news by circulating a memo from Savoir, the fictional marketing company Emily works at, complete with a signature by her hard-to-please boss, Sylvie.

“We are writing to regrettably inform you that Emily Cooper will need to remain in Paris for an extended period of time.”

She went on to praise Emily and subtly shaded her at the same time, but ended the note with a sweet sign off.

Deux is always better than un. @emilyinparis will return for Season 2!

“We love having Emily in Paris! But please don’t let her know that.”

Emily, played by Lily Collins, also shared the announcement via a clip that included her other co-stars such as Lucas Bravo, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, and Ashley Park saying the word deux (two) to commemorate the news of the second season.

Deux is better than un. I’m freaking out and beyond thrilled (much to Sylvie’s dismay) to announce @EmilyinParis will be returning for Season 2! Thank you guys for the love and support and I hope you’re as excited as we are!!...

Fans were estatic following the announcement, and, like us, can’t wait to see the continuation from season one.

‘Emily In Paris’ tells the tale of Emily, an American marketing executive who was sent to Paris to work at a luxury firm while struggling to fit in.

No word yet on when the second season will premiere, but one thing’s for sure, we can’t wait!
