Based on true events, the film tells the tale of Lynn (Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying) – a bright, scholarship student who comes up with an elaborate scheme to help other students cheat in order to earn some extra money.
Fans have been harping for a seuqel following the film’s success and now, our dreams may have just come true… in a slightly different format – a TV show, to be exact.
Will the original cast be in it?
According to Cosmopolitan PH, the series was first announced in 2019 and will continue to tell the story of Lynn, Pat, Bank, and Grace.
The new series, however, will not include the original cast of the film, so four new Thai TV stars will be taking the spotlight.
The ‘Bad Genius’ spin-off will reportedly debut in Thailand early August this year.
