It looks like a storm is brewing (instead of the usual English tea) behind the walls of Buckingham Palace following the explosive interview from a Royal Family member.

Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped into the spotlight after giving a scathing interview to Oprah Winfrey in regards to the Royal Family.

People around the world were shook with revelations and accusation brought upon the Royal Family and many were appalled with how Meghan was allegedly treated.

One happy family.

Queen Elizabeth II spills her own tea

Now, a lot of people out there are wondering how far can these claims be true and if so, how will Buckingham Palace respond to the severity of it?

The palace has finally released a statement on behalf of Her Majesty to address issues revolving around the interview.

"The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan," the statement, released on 9 March, read.

"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."

The ‘Suits’ actress recently revealed that there were conversations within the Royal Institution on “how dark” her baby’s skin (Archie) would be when he’s born and if he’s eligible to be given the ‘Prince’ title.

The interview that shook the world.
Among other things that garnered the attention of the public were how she was struggling mentally, feeling suicidal and reached out to the Royal Institution for help but was ultimately denied help as “it wouldn't be good for the institution”.

The Duchess of Sussex also said she was a victim of racism from not only the British media but from the Royal Family as well.

Netizens have been expressing their outpouring love and support for both Prince Harry and Meghan since the interview came out.
