Is Robert Downey Jr. actually Tony Stark in real-life?

The actor, best known for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has big plans to clean the planet one robot at a time.

Although the full plans have yet to be revealed, Downey Jr announced an initiative he will be spearheading to kickstart efforts to clean the Earth using advanced technologies like robotics and nanotechnology.

This organisation is called the Footprint Coalition, which will be launched in April next year, as reported by The Independent.

What a great retirement project.
In fact, he is working with artificial intelligence experts on this initiative. Well, since he doesn't have much else to do these days after the end of Iron Man, he plans to dedicate himself to this project full-time.

"Between robotics and nanotechnology, we could clean up the planet significantly, if not totally, in 10 years," he reportedly said.

He and his wife Susan Downey are currently working on a documentary series all about AI, which will be launched on YouTube Red within this year.

He sure seems like a firm believer in AI and claims that it gives him hope in slowing down or reversing Earth's deterioration.

Good on you, RDJ!
"In 11 years, when I'm 65, if we've made even a little dent in what I think is a massive threat to our future and the mess we leave behind, I'm going to come back and throw the nuttiest retirement party you've ever seen."

We are looking forward to see this initiative come to fruition, so go RDJ!
