Fans of local rock band, Search, rejoice!
The iconic band is set to have two different concerts by two variations of the band.
If you didn’t know already, the band had split into two camps due to internal conflicts.
According to a report in Malay Mail, now both groups have announced their respective concerts in June.
Search, with the line-up of guitarists Nordin and Kid, along with bassist Yan, drummer Minn, and Indonesian vocalist Denden Gonjales, has announced their Konsert Rockin’ On Rooftop, which will take place on the rooftop of Campbell Complex at Jalan Dang Wangi on June 11.
Meanwhile, Search, led by vocalist Amy, guitarists Hilary Ang and Man Kidal, and bassist Nasir said their Konsert Endemik, will happen on June 4 at the newly opened Zepp Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang City Centre.
Netizens and fans are also split on which concert they should head to.
“If Amy’s on vocals, I’d go even if the price is higher,” wrote one Facebook user.
“Those who want a karaoke experience can go to the other (non-rooftop) concert,” wrote another.
Many however felt that they should go to both.
