If you’re a fan of the popular South Korean variety show, ‘Running Man’, most of you will agree that one of the funniest cast members has got to be Lee Kwang Soo.

Well, fans may not be able to see him on the small screen for a bit as it was reported that the actor had met with an accident over the weekend.

Hit by a car

According to Soompi, the actor has suffered injuries due to the collision and is now being treated at a hospital.

Kwang Soo’s agency also released a statement regarding the incident.

“On the afternoon of 15 February (Saturday), Lee Kwang Soo, who was going somewhere in his car as part of his personal schedule, was hit by a car violating traffic signals.”

“After receiving a detailed examination at a hospital close by, he was diagnosed with a fracture in his right ankle. Lee Kwang Soo is currently taking steps to be hospitalised and is receiving treatment.”

“As a result, he will not be able to take part in his scheduled activities, and we ask for your understanding. We will be monitoring his progress, and he will focus on receiving treatment for his recovery.”

The actor also underwent a surgery earlier this week to treat his injuries.

‘Running Man’ co-stars HaHa and Kim Jong Kook have wished Kwang Soo, who is also known as ‘giraffe’, a speedy recovery via their social media accounts.

We’ll definitely miss his funny and dumb antics on ‘Running Man’, so let’s all wish the tall fella a speedy recovery.
