It looks like Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza is not only Malaysia's favourite singer.

The Australian city of Adelaide seems to be a huge fan of the songstress too.

One of three honoured this year

Congratulations, Siti!
The 41-year-old will be awarded with an honour that few has received from the city: having her name etched on Adelaide Festival Centre's Walk Of Fame.

The Star Online, quoting a press release, reported that each year, the honour is given to only three artistes who performed at the Adelaide Festival Centre, which was built in the 1970s.

Siti performed at the venue as part of the OzAsia Festival in 2019.

According to the press release, Siti’s name was chosen after beating out ten other artistes. In fact, Siti won the public voting category where she received "a record-breaking number of online votes".

That's pretty awesome!

The other two artists chosen for the honour this year was choreographer Frances Rings and composer and musician William Barton.

To date, names of 130 artistes have been inscribed on Adelaide Festival Centre's Walk Of Fame, a walkway that overlooks the River Torrens.

We are so proud that Siti is going to be one of them!
