Pedro Pascal has been everywhere, and we mean everywhere lately, even earning the moniker ‘Zaddy’ on social media after playing Joel on the popular video game turned TV series, The Last of Us.
The hit post-apocalyptic HBO series takes place 20 years after modern civilisation is destroyed. Joel is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone after hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures are infected by a cordyceps fungus. They must depend on each other for survival as they traverse the U.S.
If you can’t get enough of the series or the game, you can now experience what it is like to be part of a zombie outbreak at the Astro Experience Store at IOI City Mall Putrajaya at the Level 3 New Wing.
There, you can stand to win exciting prizes from now till 26 March 2023 including Philips 50” 4K UHD LED Android TVs, Lenovo V14 G2 laptops or Lenovo M8 tablets.
To have a shot at winning, fans must participate in a series of interactive challenges including:
Survival Forest, where fans need to scan a QR code and identify five items from a campsite at the store.
Infection Zone, where fans need to take a photo with the startlingly lifelike ‘infected man’ and post it on their social media with the hashtags #thelastofusonastro and #newastro to redeem TLOU merchandise.
Fireflies Territory, is a challenge for fans where fans have to count the total number of hidden fireflies on display.
Fans can also keep an eye out for ‘walking zombies’ in the flesh, or rather rotting flesh from Friday till Sunday. Then, take a pic from the gram at one of the eye-catching installations such as graffiti walls with messages from the fireflies, glow-in-the-dark billboards, and cordyceps fungus on walls.
