Comprises of Albert Hammond Jr, Fabrizio Moretti, Nick Valensi, Nikolai Fraiture and Julian Casablancas, The Strokes released their debut album ‘Is This it’ in the year 2001. The album catapulted them into stardom and undoubtedly influenced many successful bands including the likes of The Killers and Arctic Monkeys. If you’ve been listening to Malaysian indie long enough, you’ll also find their signature sound lurking around popular local records, too!

After a long hiatus, The Strokes returned with a stellar new record ‘The New Abnormal’ during the pandemic. Hits like ‘The Adults Are Talking’ and ‘Bad Decisions’ became fan favourites overnight.

The Strokes will be joined by a host of international acts including fellow alternative comrades The 1975, rising star Kid LAROI, Giveon, NxWorries, DPRLive + DPRIan, Porter Robinson, Rini, Sabrina Carpenter and more.

Making a return on the Good Vibes stage is LUNADIRA, the songstress who recently made Malaysia proud by being the first Malaysian to be featured on COLORS, the popular UK-based music show. Other notable COLORS alumni include Billie Eilish, Jorja Smith, Little Simz and more.

Good Vibes Festival is no stranger to bringing big names to their festival. Over the years, the homegrown brand brought the likes of Kodaline, Smashing Pumpkins, The Temper Trap, Two Door Cinema Club, The Kooks, Phoenix and many more.

The full lineup for this year’s edition is yet to be revealed but the festival will definitely be held at Sepang International Circuit from the 21st to the 23rd of July, 2023.
