We know Marvel is full of surprises, but we bet you guys didn’t see this coming.

Recently, Marvel revealed that they are collaborating with Tsuburaya Productions to produce new ‘Ultraman’ stories in the form of comics and graphic novels.

From making his debut on Japanese TV in the 1960s to getting his own Marvel comic book drop in 2020, the iconic superhero continues to become one of the hottest pop culture phenomenons of today.

“Beginning next year, Marvel will expand that iconic era of the Ultras through the lens of Marvel’s art and storytelling,” the comic giant said in a statement.

“Like Marvel, Ultraman captivated generations by telling spectacular stories grounded in the real world, and it continues to be a beloved classic through its television shows, movies, toys, games, comics, and more. We are so thrilled to introduce new chapters to the Ultraman Multiverse next year.”

So fans, you can expect Marvel-style illustrations for Ultraman and story-wise, he’ll probably go off on cool intergalactic adventures.

But what we're curious to know is if there will be a possibility of a crossover between Ultraman and other existing Marvel Cinematic Universe characters?

Well, one can always dream for it, and who knows one day, it might just happen.
