Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik recently released a hot new duet, ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’, for the Fifty Shades Darker movie soundtrack. The chemistry between the two is undeniable, but Swift decided to replace Malik with her trusty guitar and did her own acoustic rendition of the song while rehearsing for her pre-Super Bowl performance happening this Saturday. The 27-year-old singer shared a short clip from the rehearsals on her official YouTube channel.

Following Swift’s acoustic performance, Malik decided to go solo again as well. A few hours after Swift shared her acoustic video, the former One Direction member also decided to put an acoustic twist on their collaboration.

We’re not sure if they’re both trying to ‘battle’ each other out, but we believe they’re just doing this for fun and for the fans because they’ve always been open about their tight friendship.

"I've known Zayn for a really long time," Swift shared. "I think his voice is one of those that is really rare and I think he's really special and wonderful and it's really, really amazing to get to work together. He's also incredibly talented and I feel really lucky to get to do this song that I'm really proud of."

So whose acoustic rendition do you prefer?

‘I Don't Wanna Live Forever’ is featured on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, along with songs by John Legend, Sia and Nick Jonas teaming up with Nicki Minaj.
