TGV Cinemas Will Be Screening Five P. Ramlee Films In Conjunction With Merdeka
Tan Sri P. Ramlee needs no further introduction. A legend and pioneer in the local filmmaking industry, his work will always remain the masterpiece of Malaysian entertainment.
His films have weathered through the decades and are timeless pieces that will forever be enjoyed, even for generations to come.
And if you’re looking forward to re-watching his masterpieces, well, you’re in for a treat because TGV Cinemas will be screening five of P. Ramlee films as a tribute to him and also in conjunction with the Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebration.
Experience ‘Anakku Sazali’, ‘Nujum Pak Belalang’, ‘Labu Labi’, ‘Ibu Mertuaku’, and ‘Madu Tiga’ in a cinematic theatre setting from 24 August to 16 September as part of TGV Cinemas’ The Gemilang Vibes campaign.
“We’re pleased to work with Shaw Brothers to bring back some of P. Ramlee’s most memorable movies to the big screen. It is a great opportunity to re-introduce these great works of art to the younger generation and of course to all P. Ramlee fans like myself,” TGV Cinemas operations and marketing general manager Kabir A. Sultan said in a statement.
“These screenings are something you won’t want to miss.”
You can catch the five iconic movies at TGV KLCC, Sunway Putra, D’Pulze, AU2, Bukit Indah, Station 18, and Gurney Paragon. Tickets will be sold at an affordable price of RM7.
