The former member of Too Phat, whose real name is Johan Ishak, recently got engaged over the weekend to artist Marini Ramlan, making it a sweet ending for 2019.
The engagement was held in Petaling Jaya and was attended by only close family members.
Childhood sweetheart?
According to Joe’s mother, Aishah Ali, the duo started having a serious relationship since 2016, although they have known each other for 15 years.Sources close to us told Rojak Daily that they may have been together longer than that.
The couple will tie the knot in April 2020, Berita Harian reported.
“They will get married tentatively in April next year. Please pray for them and their journey towards their wedding day,” Aishah told the Malay daily.
Aishah also added that his 40-year-old son wanted to focus on his career and chase his dreams first before making the decision to settle down.
His dreams eventually came true after he was appointed the Managing Director of Def Jam Southeast Asia.
Marini’s sister, Didi Ramlan, also shared the happy news via her Instagram account.
“Last night my sister casually gave us a new family member. Congrats on the "official engagement" you guys. Welcome to the family @flizzow,” Didi wrote.
