Tom Hanks And Wife Confirm That They Tested Positive For COVID-19 In Australia
The COVID-19 situation has reached a scary new level as the World Health Organization has officially declared it as a pandemic.
More and more people have succumbed to the Coronavirus, and the latest person to be infected by it is someone we all know and admire – Tom Hanks.

The ‘Toy Story’ star recently revealed on his Twitter and Instagram account that he and his wife Rita Wilson were tested positive for COVID-19 after they initially felt a bit tired and had some colds and body aches.— Tom Hanks (@tomhanks) March 12, 2020Hanks and his wife were tested in Australia and are currently being isolated from the public.
Apparently, he has been in Australia – New South Wales, specifically - for the past few days as they are about to begin filming for a new film about Elvis Presley.
Hanks will play the role of Presley’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker, and the film will be directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Fans and celebrity friends have sent well wishes to Hanks and his wife and hope that they’ll recover soon.
