Grant Gustin has a special place in our hearts, especially after tying the knot with Sabahan lass, Andrea Thoma back in 2018.

He’s also visited Malaysia a few times in the past and once he’s back soon, he’ll probably be ready to converse in a few Malay words, thanks to some lessons with his wife.

'Jangan kacau'

Thoma recently shared a video of Gustin trying his very best to say the words “jangan kacau” (do not disturb) after several failed attempts.

“One of my favorite videos - trying to teach G how to say “don’t mess with me” in Malay. It always makes me smile,” she captioned the video.

Repost from my wife who has made sure I’m perfectly fluent in Malay. #bilingual @lathoma3

‘The Flash’ actor struggles to pronounce the word ‘jangan’ but eventually pulls it off in the end.

The video was later reposted by Grant and has received close to 1.6 million views to date.

Actor Justin Long also left an interesting comment on his post, which was written in Malay perhaps with the aid of Google translate.

Now everyone wants to try and speak Malay.
“Dia nampak fasih dengan saya @lathoma13!” Long said.

A lot of Malaysians were impressed with his effort and left him positive comments.

Well, who knows, when he returns to Malaysia he can place his order at the hawker stall in fluent Malay!
