We always love a good bromance story or two between our favourite celebrities, especially if they are superhero level.

Well, since it is officially 'Avengers' week, here is one from two individuals representing probably the most loved superheroes today.

As you know, Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man in the Marvel franchise, and Chris Evans, who plays Captain America on-screen, have bonded over the years after working on so many movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe together.

But apparently, Downey Jr. likes to take his friendship up a notch because he gifted his co-star with a car that cost USD275,000 (RM1.13mil)!

We're not talking about just any car.

According to Men's Health, he surprised Evans with a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro that is 'Avengers'-themed.

Straight out of a time machine.
In an episode of 'Jay Leno's Garage', Evans showed off his personalised gift, which is a tribute to his most iconic character, Captain America.

The sports car came with a steering wheel decorated with his star-shaped shield and a plaque that read "Steve Rogers Special Edition".

The shield makes a nice logo, doesn't it?
Evans told Leno that Downey Jr. had asked him continuously about the kind of cars he liked when they were filming on-set.

"In my head I’m like, ‘Is this guy going to give me a car? There’s no way he’s going to do this,'" he said.

Then, to his surprise, he actually showed up on set with the car right there for him!

Now, wouldn't all Marvel fans want that? RDJ, can we be your colleague too?

Downey designed, Speedkore built and Evans driven. Get the story of Chris Evan’s car on YouTube before you see it on CNBC this Thursday! Huge thanks to @robertdowneyjr @speedkore01 and Chris Evans! #ChrisEvans #RestoMod #JayLenosGarage

Downey Jr. is practically living his most famous role in real life. So, he is the billionaire Tony Stark after all because the original vehicle doesn't normally cost that much.

A 1967 Camaro would typically be priced at about USD20,000 (RM83,000), but the exclusive Captain America version costs 10 times more because of the customised parts and the number of hours it took to modify.

Now, we wonder what have the other Avengers cast received as gifts from RDJ...
