Remember Charice The Teenage Singing Sensation? She's Now A Man
So does anyone recall this teenage singing phenomenon from the Philippines?
Charice became an instant star all around the globe for her ability to nail popular hits from Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Celine Dion and more.
But it’s time to say goodbye to Charice, not because she’s leaving the entertainment industry.
The 25-year-old is now known as Jake Zyrus.
On Sunday, the Filipino singer changed all her social media accounts and officially revealed her, or his new name to the world.

This news is probably not a surprise to some of you because he first opened up about his sexuality in 2013 when he came out as a lesbian.
In the following year, he also started donning a new look with shorter blonde hair and tattoos.
In an appearance on Oprah Winfrey's talk show back in 2014, he revealed that he identifies as a man and his "soul is male".
He told the 63-year-old Winfrey that he knew he was different when he was five years old.
"'I was in grade school and I saw this girl and I felt different," he told Winfrey in the interview.
He first shot to fame in 2010 when his YouTube videos caught the attention of Ellen Degeneres, who once called him "the most talented girl in the world". His debut solo album, titled Charice, entered the Billboard 200 chart at number eight, making him the first ever Asian singer to crack top ten in the chart.
He also had a stint in the used-to-be popular musical TV series Glee.
Well Jake, no matter what your decision is, we hope you never stop singing!
