31 August 2022 marked the 65th celebration of our country’s independence and parades were held across the nation, which were enthusiastically looked forward to by citizens especially considering that celebrations were marred by the pandemic for the last two years.
The parades of course served to instill pride in all Malaysians as our national anthem ‘Negaraku’ was played and the ‘Jalur Gemilang’ was waved enthusiastically by all in attendance.
The personnel on duty such as those from the police force and the Fire & Rescue department also managed to capture the hearts of the onlookers with their stunning good looks and great physiques. After all, who doesn’t love a guy (or girl) in uniform?
Members of the Fire & Rescue department, otherwise known as the ‘Abang Bomba’ were cheered on by an adoring crowd as they wore tight T-shirts that showed off their rippling muscles. The good-natured men even willingly complied with requests to pose as they rode by on top of fire trucks. They certainly set OUR hearts aflame!

Meanwhile the lovely ladies who were at the parade also provided a good dose of eye candy. Who says there’s nothing to see in Kedah? This stunning policewoman from Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) contingent from Kedah proved otherwise.
