AEON Launched New Line of Fashion Apparel with A Runway in an MRT Coach
Japanese retailers AEON launched a few new lines in a long experiential preview at a number of locations yesterday in Petaling Jaya up to AEON Taman Maluri, Kuala Lumpur.
Dared to be different, AEON pushed the envelope by organizing the preview of three major lines from their upcoming collection in conjunction with their annual pitch and preview, AFP.
The event unleashed the popular innercasual, iC, an athleisure brand made from eco-friendly materials with enhanced functionality in the sportswear category. In emphasizing the sporting culture, AEON launched it at TRIBES Boxing Studio in full Mike-Tyson style, complete with boxing lessons and sweat sessions.
The brand stands by its 4 main attractions and pillars; affordability, sustainability, functionality and inclusive for all ages and body types.
But the most intriguing and talked about showcase has to be their travel collection, which was presented in an actual and functioning MRT coach. AEON booked two whole coaches specifically to turn them into a moving runway. Thankfully the showcase went smoothly without any delays if you get what we mean.
The brands featured in this collection include M, Arcadia, Guys Vision, Plus Collection, Scar and Puteri.
Finally, AEON lets the wedding bells ring with their wedding collection with a budget-friendly and size-inclusive bridal and bridesmaid collection, in collaboration with designers Kay Ibrahim and Zachrin Jaafar.
