Batu Caves Monkeys Recently Gave Popular South Korean DJ A Very Warm Welcome
People who have visited Batu Caves know that the wild monkeys found in the area can be quite unforgiving.
If you're not vigilante enough, these monkeys would grab food or your personal belongings out of your hands, and laugh at you when you try to chase them down.
A popular South Korean DJ, unfortunately, found that out the hard way.
DJ Soda, one of the most popular female DJs in Asia, recently got a dose of the monkeys' cheekiness when she visited the temple recently.
The South Korean DJ, whose real name is Hwang So-hee, made the mistake of trying to feed some of the monkeys, and the end result was hilarious.
She uploaded a video of the chaotic 'feeding time' on her Instagram page, and her reactions to getting bullied by the monkeys set social media abuzz.
The 32-second video contained a compilation of her freaking out and screaming as one monkey tried to jump over her head and snatch the food she was holding to feed them.
While she was fending off the monkey, another monkey tried to jump at her and grab the food.
Here's the video if you are having trouble picturing the chaos:
"My throat is hurting so bad, since I screamed a lot," she wrote.
DJ Soda was in Kuala Lumpur last week as part of her world tour, and during her free time, she spent her days exploring the city and all that it has to offer.
Her Instagram videos showed that apart from Batu Caves, she also visited the KL Tower and even tried the famous Village Park nasi lemak at Damansara Uptown .
Well, what can we say; welcome to Malaysia, DJ Soda!
