A group of fans can be seen ‘camping out’ in front of the 26-year-old prince’s tent and some of them even carried signs in hopes to catch the good looking royal Brunei heir’s attention.
The group of girls screamed like there was no tomorrow when Prince Mateen came out of his tent. They then swarmed him to take selfies and even his autograph like he was some sort of rock star.

Well, if Brunei has Prince Mateen, we Malaysians have our ‘Daddy’ Khairy Jamaluddin.
If you don’t really know what we’re talking about, a few months back, KJ innocently Tweeted “Why do people who are not my offspring refer to me as 'Daddy' on social media? What does this mean in millennial speak? Is it like uncle?”

Of course, Malaysians immediately responded with somewhat inappropriate Tweets such as “choke me daddy” and it turned into this whole inside joke between the Youth and Sports Minister and Malaysians.
Even Indonesians have taken notice of KJ and admitted that he looks better that their own Youth and Sports minister following the inverted Indonesian flag blunder.
