We bet you didn't know that there were kid-friendly headphones eh?

In collaboration with JBL Malaysia, we adults at Rojak Daily were given the chance to test out the JBL JR300BT, a kids wireless on-ear headphones. Right off the bat, we can tell you that the JR300BT was able to fit around our large adult heads as well.

So what is it?
The JR300BT comes in three colours. All wirelessThe JBL JR300BT is a purely wireless headphone that boasts 12 hours of battery life with a quick charge feature that allows for one hour of playback with only 10 minutes of charging. It's portable, light, and is comfortable to be worn by kids. It comes in three colour combinations: Pink, Blue/Orange, and Teal. Each box comes with stickers so they can customise their headphones. It has some functionalities that make it easy for kids to use and safe and we wanted to explore those.

What do you mean by kid-friendly?
Two buttons are all you need
First of all, there are only two buttons on the headphone, both of which are large and easy to press. Pairing the device is also an easy process, in our experience, you just hold the power for two seconds and a light indicates it's on. Then you search and pair the device to your phone/computer/tablet and presto, you're connected. But what really intrigued us was that <85dB safe sound feature.

JBL Safe Sound
Give your kids the gift of quality sound with JBL
The JBL JR300BT limits the volume of music that your children can listen to. At maximum volume, we can report that the headphones produced sounds that were at a comfortable level. Not too loud but definitely loud enough. You can be sure that even if your kids set the volume to max, it will not harm your child. Speaking of sound, we know this may come off as biased, but the sound is really good for something marketed to kids. We tested it by listening to Bohemian Rhapsody on full volume. The JBL JR300BT performed admirably, delivering punchy low notes while maintaining its integrity on the highs.

The headphones also adjusts to children's ear sizes with the 3D axis rotation ear cups and combined with the ear cushions, they provide a high level of Passive Noise Cancellation so they won't have to strain their ears while listening to music in noisy environments. The headphones themselves are made from durable plastic thats light and soft to the touch. Watch the video below to learn more:
