Love Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and afraid to buy outside food due to the COVID-19?

Now you can make the perfect KFC at home, with just two ingredients.

Yes, you heard that right!

The Sun reported that an Aussie mum managed to recreate the iconic fried chicken with just two ingredients - and she claims that it tastes just like the real thing.

Just like the original?According to the report, the mum-of-four’s husband wanted to buy some KFC, but she decided against it because, you know, safety first, best to be at home as much as possible.

Soooooo, she worked her magic in the kitchen and shared with Practical Parenting how easy was it to recreate KFC at home.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy

It's also very easy to make.
Here’s how:

“The breasts were absolutely huge, I cut them into two large pieces for each breast and the wing part I kept some of the breast attached to it also so everyone got equal size pieces,” she explained.

That’s already one ingredient there.

For the second ingredient, she simply coated the pieces in Tandaco Southern Fried Chicken coating mix.

This spice blend can be purchased on eBay or Amazon, or you can swap it with your local spice blend (think tepung KFC or tepung Bestari).

Looks almost exactly like the real thing.
She then just shallow fry the chicken and finished them in the oven.

“It’s so easy, cut up the chicken into portions, coat in the mix, I pressed it on to get a thicker more authentic KFC style coating, and then shallow fried in batches.

"Bung it in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, whack oven chips in for the last 10 mins, and there you have it!.”

Yup, that’s about it.

So, who else is having homemade KFC for dinner tonight?
