Are you a fan of the famous Air Asia’s Nasi Lemak Pak Naseer?

Guess what? You can now enjoy it in a chilly new way cause Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak has been turned into a new ice-cream flavour.

Yes, Santan restaurant and local ice cream artisan Crème De La Crème (CDLC) have collaborated to bring the unique ice cream flavour in conjunction with the upcoming Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day.

Apart from Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak ice-cream, another flavour that would be offered for a limited time promotion include Pandan Dodol ice cream.

Ikan bilis toppings?

According to a report in Malay Mail, the nasi lemak ice cream will use the same chilli paste on Pak Nasser’s Nasi lemak, swirled into a creamy coconut-based ice cream topped with crunchy ikan bilis and peanuts.

The Pandan Dodol ice cream, on the other hand, is a creamy coconut ice cream, with freshly toasted coconut flakes.

“While these flavours need no introduction in the local market, our collaboration with CDLC promises a unique and flavoursome experience with 100 per cent all-natural fresh ingredients."

“We look forward to taking our top-selling Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak meal, which has sold almost 20,000 units since our restaurant opened, to the next level as a dessert,” said Santan general manager Catherine Goh.

Meanwhile, CDLC managing director Lio Lim said he was excited for Malaysians to try out the unique ice cream flavour.

Both ice creams will be priced at RM8.80 and will be sold at Santan Mid Valley and Sunway Pyramid outlets as well as Crème De La Crème’s Uptown Damansara and Mont Kiara outlets beginning Aug 28.
