If you didn't post it on Instagram, did you really go to the cool places and events you've been talking about? We think not! (kidding ;))

We can't deny that Instagram has become one of our favourite social media platforms and many of us go out of our way to get the best shots for our feed and stories.

Recently, we walked around downtown Kuala Lumpur and realised there are so many awesome places to get the best shots so we thought we'd share our newfound knowledge.

1) Medan Pasar

KUBAH BY ANDI RAMDANI FROM INDONESIA! #URBANSCAPES2019

There's a huge bamboo structure built by Indonesian artist Andi Ramdani, as well as others, at Medan Pasar but it won't be there forever.

Even if you miss it, the clock tower is also an iconic structure that you can take pictures at, not just because it has been there since the beginning but also because it is pretty

2) Immersion 3.0

If you're a little bit of a nerd like some of us at Rojak Daily, you will love this exhibition held at the shop houses on Medan Pasar.

The interactive exhibition is the perfect combination of art and science where you can 'activate' and change the way the lights behave through specific actions.

It is also really pretty so a picture or a short video here would be a great addition to your Instagram.

3) Kwai Chai Hong @ Jalan Panggung

“Hidup di kota ni macam makan sate. Penuh rempah. Sedap. Tapi haruslah berhati-hati, takut-takut tercucuk lidi.” - Tengku. _ #DongengKota; sebuah pementasan yang mengadaptasi puisi-puisi bertemakan ‘KOTA’ karya T. If you're someone who is super duper rajin when it comes to donning the perfect OOTD (outfit of the day) for your pictures, we'd suggest dressing in your best 1960s Chinese costume 'cos the alley and surrounding area boast that vibe.

The murals and buildings are done in a way that commemorates that era in Kuala Lumpur but even if you're in your usual clothes, it's still OK.

This week, you'll see some extra pretty art to take pictures with so even if you've been here before, you'd still have new things to see and document on your Instagram.

4) River of Life

You just need the right angle and edits for the perfect picture
We're not sure if you've noticed, but the river is so much cleaner now, which was the whole point of the 'River of Life' project.

There are several art pieces along the river and at night, there are also changing lights that looks nice in pictures.

5) iNyala at REXKL

BIMDs from @theoneacademy has not one, but two installations in our exhibition. One which you may have came across is Icosahedron and the second, Swing Beyond! Swing Beyond is an interactive light installation that you can sit on and play with. It is inspired by the metaphoric meaning of light as hope and swing which is commonly associated to happiness during our childhood days. With only half of November to go, come on down and visit our modern playground of new media art! ☄⚡ [Opening Times] Date: 1-30 November (closed on Mondays) Time: 10am-10pm Venue: REXKL Admission is free and is suitable for all ages #iNYALA #HelioMedia #KiniEvents #REXKL #ImagineTheImpossible #VisitMalaysia2020 #VM2020 #TNBBetterBrighter #AirAsia #YayasanSimeDarby #Passionation @hellorexkl @inyala.my

You would have guessed by now that we love lights, especially when it involves interactive stuff.

iNyala is an exhibition at REXKL which features work by students, done in collaboration with Tenaga Nasional Berhad.

You can play a version of snake (yup, the Nokia game that we all miss), swing below a cloud that changes colours as you move and more!
