Such a mix up happens all the time and most probably everyone who bought something online has experienced it.
However, an incident that happened to a man from Kerala takes the cake.
According to a report in The News Minute, Mithun Babu ordered a passport cover from Amazon but received a real passport of some other man along with the ordered product.

The report said Mithun placed an order on Amazon for a passport pouch on 30 October. Two days later, he received the package and to his shock, her found a real passport inside.
“At first, I mistook it for a dummy passport. However, upon closer inspection, I realised I had received an original passport, belonging to a Thrissur native,” he was quoted as saying.
Mithun proceeded to contact Amazon regarding the mix up and was even more shocked with the response given.
The customer care executive apparently told him that the mistake will 'not be repeated' and ‘they will be careful in the future’.
The problem was not even solved because he still had the passport of the other person.
So, he did what he could best do in the situation.
Mithun searched for the owner of the passport, Muhammed Salih, and managed to find him with the details on the passport.
He later found out that Muhammed actually purchased the passport cover earlier from Amazon but decided to return it, forgetting that his actual passport was still inside.
"This was a mistake from the seller on Amazon. They did not check the returned product, and sent it again by repackaging it," said Mithun.
