McDonaldsxNewJeans Launches in Malaysia: Standees, Photocards, and More
We previously covered how McDonalds and NewJeans have collaborated for a special campaign and it’s finally arrived in Malaysia as of 7 September! The NewJeans Chicken Dance campaign has already hit our neighbouring countries such as Brunei and Indonesia, while some fans hit Mekdi early this morning to get their hands on the meal so we had a look at what Bunnies (NewJeans fans) can expect.
What has Bunnies excited is that those who purchase the Spicy Crispy Chicken Burger or Wrap (Medium) meal will get a paper bag and paper cup emblazoned with the collaboration logo.
You can also check out some of the stores which have been decked out with standees and images of Hanni, Danielle, Minji, Hyein, and Haerin. Note that apparently the NewJeans store wrap and meals are only available at selected McDonalds outlets (make sure to ask at the counter before ordering if you’re not sure).

Some fans managed to get only the paper bag and paper cup with the NewJeans logo while others even managed to get their hands on the highly sought-after photo cards:

Bunnies have shared that it seems that the special packaging is not available for online orders or delivery, so make sure you walk in because many fans have been left disappointed:

McDonaldsxNewJeans Special Kit
There is also a special kit with postcards, tape, stickers, and keyring in a cute box for those who purchase 15 meals and above. According to our calculations, this will set you back at least RM203.70 (excluding SST) if you get 15 Spicy Crispy Chicken Burger Regular Meals. That’s…a lot of chicken.
