Obviously, they intend for their kids to have a great time at their birthday parties.
One mother from Oklahoma had the same best intention when she organised a surprise birthday party for her six-year-old daughter.
However, things didn’t turn out the way she wanted it to.
The kids freaked out
It all started when Brett McPherson went for a holiday in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with her family which coincided with her daughter's birthday.
With Bigfoot purportedly inhabiting the forests there, McPherson decided to bring the character to Blaynee Mae's birthday party.
Unfortunately, when the Bigfoot named Cinnamon showed up with balloons and presents for the birthday girl, all hell broke loose.
Yes, instead of cheering, the children started screaming and crying.
“They hit the ground like a tornado was coming. It was like they were on fire or something. We just never expected that kind of reaction,” McPherson was quoted as saying by News on 6, as reported Malay Mail.
A video of the scene was posted on McPherson’s Instagram page.
Despite the first impression given to the children, Cinnamon eventually made friends with them and together, had a lot of fun.
