The man in the photo is Ahmad Zaim Nasreen Bin Musa, a 26-year-old constable from Gemas, Negeri Sembilan.
The photo was originally uploaded by his cousin, Mohd Ridzuan Baharudin on his Facebook page.
“I am sad. Today was supposed to be his wedding day. Because of MCO 2.0 he had to postpone it,” Mohd Ridzuan wrote.
“We salute you sir. Your sacrifice will be honoured.”

The photos have gone viral on social media including on Twitter which received thousands retweets and encouraging messages from Malaysians.
