For those of you who wear a hijab and love the outdoors, Nike has a product just for you!

Called the 'Nike Pro Hijab', the single-layer pull-on head scarf is made of light, stretchy fabric that includes tiny holes for breathability. It also features an elongated back so that it will not come untucked during vigorous activities.

The Pro Hijab will reportedly come in three colours: black, vast grey and obsidian.

According to a press release by Nike, they began developing the hijab after some Muslim athletes felt uncomfortable wearing a traditional hijab at sporting meets.

The development process took 13 months, the sportswear giant said in the statement, and Emirati figure skater Zahra Lari gave her stamp of approval after taking it out for a test drive.

"I've tried so many different hijabs for performance, and ... so few of them actually work for me. But once I put it on and took it for a spin on the ice, I was blown away by the fit and the light weight," Lari said in the statement.

Now, here's the good news; Nike said the final product will be available for sale in 2018.

Who knows, the Pro Hijab might even give Fareeda a run for its money.
