OMG: M’sian Actress’ Wedding Cake Has 9 Tiers, A Terarrium, And A Water Fountain!

Some even make it an effort to make sure it looks as beautiful and majestic as the bride and groom.

Back in 2019, a couple’s 19-foot glass themed wedding cake went viral after the cake collapsed during the ceremony.

This year, another couple is vying to steal the wedding cake spotlight.

Local actress Elly Mazlein or popularly known as Kak Lina Pom Pom recently tied the knot with geography teacher, Mohamad Azlan Che Nuh and held a grand wedding reception at the Putra World Trade Center.

Their wedding cake became the talk of the town because it was literally next level! The cake was so out there that you'd probably only see something like it on ‘Cake Boss’.

Towering at nine tiers, the cake featured a blue and gold colour palette, crystal geodes, a terrarium, and the pièce de résistance – a flowing water fountain complete with mist.

Guests and netizens were impressed with the out-of-the-box cake and praised its creativity.

The intricate cake was the brainchild of Mad About Cake, operated by Chef Zam and Chef Wan.

The intricate cake was the brainchild of Mad About Cake, operated by Chef Zam and Chef Wan. It took the team two weeks to conceptualise and create the viral wedding cake.

The water used for the water fountain was also quite fancy.

They used Spritzer mineral water instead of regular tap water. Talk about going the extra mile, huh?

“The most challenging part while making the cake was learning the mechanics of it; electrical and wiring. For the first time ever, we requested a plug point at the cake table,” Mad About Cake shared on their Instagram.
