Wearing face masks have become a norm in this day and age, and it's now super important to wear one when you're heading outside.

But there's one major problem when it comes to wearing face masks for people who wear spectacles: they just can't stop their darn eyewear from fogging up.

There have been numerous methods that have been floating online, but those usually don't do anything (except leave smudges on your glasses, ugh).

Don't worry, a kind-hearted optician is here to help.

Rejoice, wearer of glasses

You can thank him later.
The optician, one Gordon Kyle, recently released a video to the joy of all glasses wearers out there.

Kyle -- an optician from the Miller and McClure Opticians based in Paisley, the United Kingdom -- dropped three very valuable nuggets to help you stop glasses-fogging once and for all.

His three tips are:

1) Place your glasses over the mask
2) Place a piece of tissue paper on the top edge of the mask before putting it on
3) Tie a knot on the strings of the mask to make it look like a "wee package"

You can watch the video below for a simple tutorial:

In the video, Kyle also advised against using other unproven methods that's been widely shared on social media, some involving coating your eyewear with various cleaning products.

Kyle told the Daily Record that some cleaning products may contain substance that is harmful to your lenses.

So, there you go. Give some of the tips a try, and let us know which method works for you guys.
