Nothing is impossible! We can plan our dream wedding on a DIY basis - let’s get crafty, peeps! First things first, we need to create a list of PRIORITIES; wedding dress, dais, hand bouquet, make-up, and dowry. If these are doable, there’s no need to recruit professional help. Let’s get our friends and family on board to assist us. The most important thing is knowing what we want for our big day. Take a chill pill and focus one-by-one. Take time to plan and let’s not spend lavishly on things that only last for a day. Try to stay within our budget and spend as minimal as possible.

#2 Venue reservations
Finding the ideal venue for the wedding is going to frustrate us if we don’t start searching earlier. Make sure to book the rental space at least A YEAR PRIOR. Yup! A year. If we were to book the rental space the last minute, we will end up burning a hole in our pocket. There’s no financial gain if you book the venue last minute. Realistically, finding the ideal venue for our big day is a hustle because we have to confirm upon availability and matching dates. Thus, don’t forget this on our wedding to-do-list!

Figuring how millennials are nowadays, e-invite is by far the best option because it won’t cost a penny and we can save trees too! The rise of social media has also made it easy to disperse the message. We can even design our own invitation knowing there’s a variety of creative apps online. They say less is more. Let’s save the environment and our pockets.

That is why choosing a budget-friendly door gift is important. Don’t let the money we spent on door gifts haunt us to sleep. We need to focus on the bigger picture. Plan wise, we have a dream wedding to realize.

Wedding is about celebrating people with food. It is incomplete to celebrate the newlywed without having a feast. We got to admit that we spend the most on food and beverage service.
