Popular mobile game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds or better known as PUBG has initiated a CSR campaign called “Play As One” to supply medical aid to COVID-19 healthcare frontliner.

Malay Mail reported that the campaign which will run until July 28, includes an in-game challenge and a community fundraiser for individual players to support humanitarian aid organisation Direct Relief.

Direct Relief is a California based NGO which provides personal protective equipment for health workers as well as builds a medication stockpile to assist with a possible spike in intensive care unit patients.

Play to raise funds

Trying to help.

The campaign will allow players to join the in-game “Running Challenge for Donation” event to support the cause, which means the more players that play the game, the more funds they will help to raise.

So if you're already a PUBG player, spread the word and do your part to help.

For non players, you can also contribute to the fundraising campaign by heading to directrelief.org/pubgmobile .
