REDLINE Fitness Games Returns Stronger Than Ever With Record Turnout & High-Octane Challenges
This past weekend, the MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) was transformed into a high-octane arena of athleticism and sportsmanship as the REDLINE Fitness Games by NISSAN returned for its third and most electrifying edition yet. Held on 26 and 27 July, the event drew over 10,000 participants and spectators from across Malaysia and beyond, setting a new benchmark for inclusive fitness competitions in Southeast Asia.
Following the resounding success of its 2023 and 2024 editions, REDLINE 2025 proved once again why it’s more than just a fitness event, it’s a movement. Organised by Fresh Events Asia and powered by returning title sponsor NISSAN, the two-day spectacle celebrated the spirit of pushing boundaries, both physically and mentally.

At the heart of the event was the REDLINE workout arena, a meticulously designed circuit of 12 full-body cardio and strength challenges. From SkiErg and BikeErg sprints to deadball burpees, sled pushes, and the infamous Mule sandbag carries, every station demanded grit, endurance, and mental resilience. Exercises like Russian twists, shuttle runs, and the sandbag gauntlet added variety and intensity, ensuring a balanced yet punishing test of fitness.
Participants competed across Singles, Doubles, and Team Relay formats, with difficulty levels tailored to beginners, intermediates, and advanced athletes. This inclusive structure allowed gym-goers of all backgrounds to find their place in the competition, whether they were seasoned athletes or first-time challengers.

Jeff Ross, General Manager of Fresh Events Asia, reflected on the event’s enduring appeal, “Every year, REDLINE reminds us of the raw grit and community spirit it ignites. It’s not just about fitness, it’s about belonging, pushing your limits, and being part of something bigger.”
NISSAN’s continued support as title sponsor underscored the brand’s alignment with REDLINE’s values of strength, endurance, and boldness. Khoo Cheng Pah, CEO of Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd, shared, “REDLINE is about pushing boundaries, and that pursuit of performance mirrors everything we strive for at NISSAN. It’s a partnership built on a shared mindset of going further.”
The event also received strategic backing from the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), whose support was instrumental in ensuring a smooth and culturally rich experience.
“We’re proud to support REDLINE as it grows into a signature fitness event for Malaysia and the region,” said MyCEB CEO Tan Mei Phing. “It reflects the kind of dynamic, community-focused experiences that elevate Malaysia as a destination for world-class lifestyle events.”

As the dust settles on this year’s edition, REDLINE is already looking ahead. Bangkok is set to host its first REDLINE Fitness Games in December 2025, with Vietnam joining the roster in early 2026, marking the beginning of REDLINE’s regional expansion.
True to its name, REDLINE challenges participants to discover their personal limits, their “redline”, in a space that celebrates effort, resilience, and unity. With each edition, it continues to redefine what community-driven fitness events can be: physically demanding, emotionally fulfilling, and undeniably inspiring.
